A Presence of Grace: Finding Jesus in Moments of Deepest Need

Spiritual discovery is a journey as unique as each of us. For some, it’s a gradual unfolding; for others, a single, transformative moment. My own path has woven together the teachings of yoga and the profound presence of Christ, leading me to a truth I wasn’t looking for but deeply needed.

Spiritual Discovery as Practice

What I’ve come to see is that spiritual discovery isn’t a single event or belief but a practice. It’s a daily, committed act of connecting with our inner truth and aligning with the love and wisdom within us. Whether through Christianity, yoga, or another path, it’s not just about accepting a figure or concept—it’s about living it, letting it embody us; it’s about being embodied.

The Moment of Connection

After my father passed, I was alone, overcome by despair and grief, feeling unanchored. In those moments, there were no words—just raw sorrow. But as I sat there, something happened that I still find difficult to fully describe: I felt a presence come to my right side. It was Jesus, coming with such love and strength, and with him, he brought the spirit of my father. They were there, comforting me in a way that transcended anything I’d known.

The Lasting Connection

Since that day, I’ve never felt alone. Jesus has remained with me, right there on my right side. This wasn’t about a specific belief or prayer. It was love reaching out to me when I needed it most. My connection with Christ has become part of my daily life, and he’s never left.

An Invitation to Feel

For anyone reading this, please know that moments of grace and connection are there for each of us. We don’t need to have it all figured out. Sometimes, it’s in the moments of deepest despair that we are met by the love we need most. My journey is my own, but if it resonates with you, perhaps it’s an invitation to seek out that connection in your own way.
